Is the hadith whose text is: "Do not instruct people, for they will lie. Indeed, the children of Jacob did not know that the wolf eats people. But when their father instructed them, they lied, and said: 'The wolf ate him'," authentic?

This Hadith was mentioned by Al-Daylami in Al-Firdaws with the wording: "Do not teach people lies, lest they lie; for the sons of Jacob did not know that a wolf eats people, but when he taught them: 'I fear that the wolf will eat him,' they said: 'The wolf ate him.'" The book Al-Firdaws is a repository of weak Hadiths, and none of the Hadith scholars have commented on its authenticity or weakness.
