Is the Hadith: "Act in obedience to Allah, and fear disobeying Allah, and command your children to observe the commandments and avoid the prohibitions, for that is a protection for them and for you from the Fire" authentic?

The aforementioned Hadith attributed to Ibn Abbas in the interpretation of the verse (Guard yourselves and your families from a Fire) is a Mawquf narration, not a Marfu‘ one. Its chain of transmission is weak due to two defects: the first is that Ali ibn Abi Talhah did not hear from Ibn Abbas, and the second is the weakness of Abdullah ibn Salih, who, though truthful, made many errors. Nevertheless, the meaning of the statement is correct and suitable for interpreting the verse.
