What is the ruling regarding a husband divorcing his pregnant wife with a single, revocable pronouncement, then verbally reconciling with her in court without proof before she gives birth, and then the husband refusing to reconcile with her after she gives birth? Is she permissible for him after she refuses to return, considering they have three children?

If the husband takes back his wife by saying: "I have taken back my wife" or any statement indicating reconciliation, then the reconciliation is valid, whether it is explicit and does not require an intention, or implicit and requires an intention accompanying the statement. There is no need to repeat the reconciliation after the delivery of the child, and having witnesses to it is recommended but not obligatory. Based on this, the wife returns to the authority of her husband as soon as he pronounces the reconciliation, and it is not permissible for her to disobey him or refuse to return to his house. Her insistence on doing so would entail the rulings of nushuz (rebellion/disobedience).
