Is it permissible for a girl to go with her father's friend if she cannot find a mahram to accompany her out of necessity, knowing that she is veiled and committed (to religious observance)?

Many contemporary scholars have concluded that it is impermissible for a woman to ride alone with a non-mahram driver, because it is akin to unlawful seclusion (khalwah), due to the potential harms involved. However, it is permissible to allow this out of extreme necessity and when there is assurance of no fitnah (temptation/strife), based on the opinion of those who permitted it with specific conditions.
