Is it permissible for a girl to ride alone in the school bus if she is the last one to disembark and the driver is a non-mahram?

It is not permissible for a woman to ride alone with a non-mahram driver, as this constitutes khalwa (private seclusion). However, some scholars have permitted it with certain conditions, among them: that the woman knows the driver's trustworthiness and uprightness, that she sits in the back seat, and that she does not converse with him. If the distance is short and there is no fear of fitna (temptation), then there is no harm; otherwise, it is not permissible.
