Is a woman entitled to claim compensatory solace payment (nafaqat al-mut'ah) if the divorce was due to her severe harm and her aversion to cohabiting with her husband because of his addiction to watching pornography, even though the decision to divorce was based on her desire?

If the husband divorces his wife without a khul' (divorce at the instance of the wife, with compensation), then she has the right to demand mut'ah (compensatory gift). It is recommended according to the majority of scholars and obligatory according to some. The mut'ah is not forfeited merely by the wife's request for divorce; rather, it is forfeited if the divorce occurs in exchange for property. Abandoning the husband due to his transgression is not permissible, except according to the view of some scholars.
