Is it obligatory to feed the poor when possessing wealth, and is it permissible to fast three days with the intention of [making up for] twelve days of expiation, and is it permissible to fast for expiation along with the days of Ramadan with the intention of fasting Ramadan and expiation?

If someone repeatedly takes an oath on something and then breaks it, there are several scenarios: If they take the second oath after breaking the first and atoning for it, then a second expiation becomes obligatory upon them. If they take the second oath after breaking the first but before atoning for it, then an expiation becomes obligatory for each breach. If they take the second oath before breaking the first, then only one expiation is due, according to the preponderant opinion. For someone obligated to two or more expiations, it is not sufficient to atone for one expiation with the intention of covering two; rather, atonement must be made for each oath. It is not permissible to switch to fasting unless one is unable to feed, clothe, or free a slave, and they must fast three days for each expiation.
