Is it permissible to feed ten poor persons weekly as expiation for an oath, and is the fasting valid if I am unable to feed them, and what kind of food is obligatory, and should I offer the expiatory fasting before making up the missed fasts?

According to the Hanbalis, multiple oaths whose consequence is one (i.e., breaking them requires the same atonement) are covered by a single expiation, as a facilitation for the questioner. This expiation is feeding ten poor persons; a mudd (approximately 750 grams) of the average staple food of the land is sufficient for each poor person, though increasing it to half a Sa' (one and a half kilograms) is better. Furthermore, making up for missed Ramadan fasts takes precedence over fasting for a vow or for an oath's expiation.
