Does divorce take effect if a man tells his wife: "If you wear the tight abaya again, you will be divorced," and then the wife wears it intentionally and in a state of extreme anger, with the husband not intending divorce?

The fatwa is that divorcing someone conditionally takes effect when the condition is met, whether the husband intended to issue the divorce, or merely to threaten, or to prevent. However, some scholars hold the view that divorce does not occur if the wife defiantly fulfills the condition with the intention of bringing about the divorce.
