There is no problem with the different classifications of Tawhid (monotheism) by scholars, whether divided into two, three, or four categories. This is because these classifications are terminological, intended to facilitate understanding, and they do not deviate from the general meaning of Tawhid, which includes belief in God's existence, His Lordship (Rububiyyah), His Divinity (Uluhiyyah), and His Names and Attributes. The fundamental types of Tawhid are Tawhid al-Rububiyyah, Tawhid al-Uluhiyyah, and Tawhid al-Asma wa al-Sifat. These classifications have existed since ancient times.
