Is it permissible for an Imam who is a Hafiz to lead people in prayer from memory while wearing earbuds to communicate with his wife, who would correct him if he makes a mistake, in the absence of anyone among the congregants to correct him?

If a worshiper becomes confused about reciting a verse and cannot recall it, they should bow (ruku') or move on to another surah or the next verse. It is not permissible for the worshiper to rely on someone to prompt them to correct their mistakes, because that is a form of cheating and may lead to laxity in memorizing the Qur'an. Furthermore, it may lead to people despising the imams.
