Does the saying: "I, and I seek refuge in Allah from the word 'I'" have a legal basis, and what is the ruling on uttering it?

The use of the word "I" to introduce oneself is necessary in language and is not inherently blameworthy. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and righteous people used it. Nevertheless, its use may be blameworthy if it is associated with arrogance, as was the case with Iblis, Pharaoh, and Qārūn. The best use of it is in a context of humility and admission of sin, such as a servant saying: "I am the sinful servant."
