What is the ruling on thanking Allah for a blessing a servant perceives in something forbidden?

The comfort and happiness you feel as a result of touching a foreign woman is not a blessing, but rather a trial and a gradual enticement from Allah, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If you see Allah giving a servant what he loves of this world despite his sins, then it is merely a gradual enticement." Therefore, it is impermissible for a man to touch a woman who is unlawful to him, and this is considered among the gravest sins. You must offer sincere repentance by abandoning the sin, feeling remorse, and resolving not to return to it. And to thank Allah for this sin is an act of disbelief. Allah has not placed healing in what He has forbidden; rather, for every ailment there is a lawful cure. You must seek a legitimate treatment by consulting specialists and supplicating to Allah.
