What is the meaning of Allah's name, Al-Wakeel?

The Trustee (Al-Wakeel) is the Preserver, the Encompasser, the Sustainer who guarantees the provisions of His servants, and who manages their affairs. Its meaning is that He independently handles the matter entrusted to Him, for creation and command all belong to Him. It has been said that He is the Preserver, the Guarantor, and the Sufficient. And His saying, the Most High: "And they said, 'Sufficient for us is Allah, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs.'" means Allah suffices us, and how excellent a Patron and Trustee He is. The Trustee is the one entrusted with undertaking a matter by the one who assigns him to undertake it. And Allah possesses the complete trusteeship that combines His knowledge, His encompassing power, His perfect ability, and His wisdom in managing affairs.
