Is it permissible for a woman to wear loose, comfortable men's clothing on the grounds that it is more modest, knowing that her intention is not to imitate men, and that she intends to buy men's trousers and sports shoes for the same purpose?

If the garment is shared between men and women and is not exclusive to men, then there is no objection to wearing it, provided that it meets the Islamic legal conditions for Muslim women's attire. However, if the garment is exclusive to men, it is not permissible for a woman to wear it, even if she does not intend to imitate them, due to the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibition of women imitating men.
