Is it permissible for a woman to apply a small amount of perfume to eliminate the smell of sweat when she goes out to work or to the market?

A woman is not permitted to apply perfume or burn incense, or similar fragrances, when leaving her home, due to the prohibition of such actions in multiple hadiths. This is because her perfuming herself when leaving her home is a cause for temptation (fitnah). However, if the fragrance's effect is limited to removing an unpleasant odor without spreading in a way that others can smell it, then its use is permissible upon verifying that this is indeed the case.
