Is it permissible to break one's fast on the day of returning from a journey after completing a full day's work, knowing that I arrived home at noon? And if it is permissible, must I break my fast from the morning of that day or upon my arrival?

A traveler is permitted to break their fast if they know they will return to their family on the same day. This is the view of the majority of scholars, while Imam Ahmad holds that they are obligated to fast.

As for the time of breaking the fast, a traveler is permitted to break their fast at any time as long as they are traveling. However, if they return to their hometown while fasting, they must complete the fast. But if they return having already broken their fast, they are not obligated to abstain.
