When does a traveler break their fast if their plane departs before the time of Maghrib (sunset) while traveling from one country to another, and what about their subsequent travel for a day or two?

If a Muslim travels before sunset on a given day, he must fast on that day because he was a resident at its beginning. If he travels during the day, it is preferable for him to complete the fast and not break it. There is no harm in breaking the fast for the duration of the journey after commencing it, due to the Almighty's saying: "But whoever among you is sick or on a journey, then [he must fast] an equal number of other days." And when the traveler arrives in his hometown, he must fast because the journey has ended.
