Everything that comes out of the earth, such as oils and petroleum materials, is pure. Prayer in clothes stained with it is permissible without any difficulty, whether the stain is small or large, and whether it has a smell or not. It is desirable for a Muslim to choose the best clothes for prayer and to clean oneself for it if able without hardship; otherwise, one should pray in one's current state.
