Is Zakat obligatory on a financial bonus received two weeks before Ramadan, knowing that I pay Zakat on the 1st of Ramadan every year?

The madhhab of the majority of scholars is that the bonus you received from work is not subject to zakat until a hawl (full lunar year) passes over it, due to the generality of the hadith: "There is no zakat on wealth until a hawl passes over it." This is the saying of Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali, may Allah be pleased with them. However, if the acquired wealth is from the growth of the principal, like trade profits, then its zakat is obligatory along with its principal by consensus.
