Does Allah accept the prayers, fasting, and charity of one who committed the abomination of Lot's people in his youth, and is now repentant and regretful? And does Allah forgive him?

You have committed a grave transgression, but if you repent to Allah with sincere repentance, He will accept your repentance. Therefore, you must feel remorse, resolve not to return to the sin, and have a good opinion of your Lord, for He is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful. The one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin. So do not despair of Allah's mercy, and increase in acts of worship and obedience, for good deeds erase evil deeds. And associate with righteous people.
