Should the marriage contract be renewed after renewing one's Islam, if the contract was made before renewing Islam and consummation has not occurred?

There are two types of doubt: The first is a fleeting, obsessive thought that is detested and repelled. There is no sin in it; rather, its a person is rewarded for it, and it is considered a clear sign of faith. The second type is succumbing to doubt and not detesting it. This contradicts firm belief and is considered disbelief and apostasy from Islam. One who has succumbed to doubt must renew his Islam and his marriage contract. An officiant is not required for renewing the contract; rather, it is sufficient for the guardian to say to the husband, "I marry so-and-so to you," and for the husband to say, "I accept," in the presence of two just witnesses. Euphemism can be used with the husband to justify renewing the contract. However, if the 'Umrah was not completed or was performed during menstruation, this is considered a way out for renewing the marriage.
