One must refrain from delving into legal rulings using reason alone, for the human intellect is deficient in grasping all the secrets of legislation. One must submit to God's rulings, whether their wisdom is known or not, because the inability to comprehend the wisdom signifies intellectual deficiency. Furthermore, legal rulings must be taken from known scholars, and one must avoid speaking about God without knowledge. Ablution (Wudu') is an act of worship with numerous wisdoms, and cleaning the mentioned limbs is not its sole purpose. It is an act of worship that requires intention and sequence, even if the limbs are clean, for without them, the ablution is not valid, and the state of ritual impurity is not removed.
