What is the ruling on the statement: "Matter is not perishable, does not vanish, and was not created from nothingness"?

The statement that matter neither perishes nor was created from nothing is an act of disbelief (kufr), because everything other than Allah is created from nothing, and Allah is the Creator of all things. He alone is the Eternal and Everlasting. As for the imperishability of matter, if it means that it is imperishable by itself, then this is an error, because everything that exists is subject to perishing. However, if it means that some creations do not perish by Allah's will, then this is true, such as Paradise and its delights and its inhabitants, as well as the inhabitants of Hellfire. But the statement that matter has no origin in existence or absolute permanence is an atheistic claim; for matter is created from nothing, and everything other than Allah originates from nothing.
