Is the wife entitled to demand financial compensation (such as gifts, travel expenses, or mahr) from her husband who secretly married another, or to demand that he change her home furnishings?

A husband must be just between his wives in terms of lodging, and this obligation is not waived by different countries. If they are in two countries, he must be just between them by going to the absent wife during her days, or by bringing them together in one country. Otherwise, he should divide the time as much as possible. The wife has the right to demand that he make up the time he spent with the other wife, except for the days of a virgin (seven) and a non-virgin (three). However, the husband is not required to be just between his wives in terms of gifts, presents, dowries, housing, or furniture. Rather, his obligation is to fulfill each wife's right and to spend on her in a reasonable manner. He may favor one over the other in terms of expenditure and clothing if the other is sufficiently provided for.
