If a person wrongs me with their disobedience and persists in this action, what should I do?

The sinner should be advised whether their sin affects the advisor or not, because enjoining good and forbidding evil is a great obligation, and its continuous fulfillment is required, as stated in the Almighty's saying: (And when a nation among them said, "Why do you preach to a people whom Allah is going to destroy or punish with a severe punishment?" They said, "As an excuse to your Lord and perhaps they may fear Him.") The Muslim should vary their approach to denouncing and inviting, through encouragement or intimidation, or cautionary tales, or by clarifying the ill effects of sin. If the advisor cannot bear to be near the disobedient person, and is harmed by them, and sees no benefit in advising them, then they should keep away from them.
