Can a wife who was divorced after her husband accused her of infidelity return to him, knowing that she heard that a husband who accuses his wife of infidelity is permanently forbidden to her?

If the divorce is revocable (first or second) and the 'iddah (waiting period) has not expired, the husband may take his wife back without a new contract. However, after the 'iddah expires, he may marry her with a new contract, a new mahr (dowry), and her consent. The 'iddah expires with three menstrual cycles or by giving birth for a pregnant woman. If the divorce is irrevocable (the third), she is not lawful for him until she marries another husband. Accusing the wife of indecency does not make her forbidden; rather, it is a grave sin that necessitates the prescribed punishment (hadd) for the husband unless he brings evidence or performs 'li'an' (oath of condemnation). However, permanent prohibition results from 'li'an'.
