What is the ruling on saying "So-and-so was remembered by our Lord" when asked about someone who has recently passed away?

If the intention behind saying "Allah remembered him" is that Allah had forgotten and then remembered and caused death, then this is disbelief (kufr), because Allah does not forget. However, if the speaker is ignorant and only intended that Allah took him, then he does not commit disbelief, but he must avoid this expression and say, "Allah took his soul" (tawaffāhu Allah).
