The conclusion of Surat Al-Baqarah consists of its last two verses. Many prophetic narrations have been reported explaining their virtue, among them the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever recites the two verses from the end of Surat Al-Baqarah at night, they will suffice him." Also among them is that they were given to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on the night of Al-Isra' (the Night Journey), and they are two lights that no prophet before him was given. Therefore, a Muslim should frequently recite them and understand their meanings.
