If the amount of the forbidden money is taken out and returned to its owners, if they are known, or spent for the benefit of Muslims and the poor, if its owner is not known or if there is no hope of reaching him, then the liability is cleared and the remaining money becomes lawful. If money acquired through unlawful means is mixed with lawful money, then only the unlawful amount must be taken out. The aforementioned network is not forbidden, and there is no need to dispose of it; it suffices to take out the amount of forbidden money that was used in it.
