To what extent is the hadith authentic: "I never intended to do anything that the people of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance) used to do, except for two times, and each time Allah intervened between me and it..."?

The Hadith in question was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi, Ibn Hibban, Al-Bukhari in Al-Tareekh Al-Kabeer, and Al-Bazzar. Al-Bazzar said: "We do not know of this Hadith being narrated except from Ali with this chain of transmission." Al-Haythami said: "Al-Bazzar narrated it, and its narrators are trustworthy." Al-Fakihi said: "Its chain of transmission is good."
