Is a wife entitled to refuse to spend the night at her in-laws' home if she lacks psychological and physical comfort, and to suffice with visits, and what is the way for the husband to satisfy his mother without simultaneously wronging his wife?

It is the wife's right that her husband provides her with independent housing, and she is not obliged to live with his family. The spouses may agree to live with the family of either one of them, as long as there is no disobedience (to Allah) involved, with the importance of each of them maintaining a good relationship with the other's family. A woman should not travel alone without a mahram.
