What was the language spoken by our master Adam?

It appears that Allah taught Adam, peace be upon him, the names of all things in all languages, as evidenced by the Almighty's saying: (And He taught Adam all the names), and the Prophet's, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "And He taught you the names of everything." This aligns with the view of most Usulis (scholars of legal theory) that languages are tawqifiyyah (divinely ordained), taught by Allah to Adam through revelation. However, another group held that languages are istilahiyyah (conventional), and therefore Adam might not have known the names in all languages.
