How is inheritance calculated if the heirs are one full brother and two full sisters?

The inheritance is to be distributed among the brother and the two sisters, with the male receiving the share of two females, as stated by the Almighty: ﴿وَإِنْ كَانُوا إِخْوَةً رِجَالًا وَنِسَاءً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ﴾ [An-Nisa: 176]. Thus, the inheritance is divided into four shares: two shares for the brother, and one share for each sister. The matter must be referred to the Sharia courts, as there might be an unknown heir, or wills or debts that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
