Is not marrying someone from the People of the House (Ahl al-Bayt) considered an honoring of them, following the example of what the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did with Ali and Fatima, may God be pleased with them both?

The Prophet, peace be upon him, disliked the marriage of Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, to another woman while he was married to Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her, for reasons and considerations mentioned by scholars. The mere fact that a wife is from the Ahl al-Bayt (household of the Prophet) does not prohibit marrying another woman while married to her, nor does it contradict the honoring of the Ahl al-Bayt.
