Is it permissible to adopt the view of those who permitted the trimming of eyebrows for unmarried women, and does this fall under the blameworthy seeking of concessions, and will it result in punishment and expulsion from the mercy of Allah in the Hereafter if it is impermissible?
It is not permissible to prefer one over another merely because it aligns with one's desires; rather, one must choose the one that is closer to correctness in terms of knowledge and trustworthiness.
The majority of jurists permit eyebrow plucking (namṣ) for a married woman with her husband's permission, and prohibit it for an unmarried woman. However, the preferred view is absolute prohibition, unless the eyebrow density reaches a level of disfigurement that is outside the norm, in which case it is permissible to lighten it to the extent that removes this disfigurement.
The standard for disfigurement is not what is commonly spread among women.
As for the question of punishment and expulsion from God's mercy due to namṣ, expulsion from God's mercy is not like the expulsion of disbelievers. A disobedient monotheist may be spared from being cursed due to the presence of deterrents such as repentance, seeking forgiveness, expiating good deeds, worldly tribulations, the intercession of intercessors, and God's mercy. Thus, punishment only occurs if all these deterrents are absent.
