What is the ruling on the prostration of thanksgiving after the Tarawih prayer?

As for the prostration of thanksgiving after prayer or after Tarawih, it is an innovated matter. Prostration to Allah should only occur when its causes are present, such as reciting an ayah of prostration, or the occurrence of a new blessing. As for prostration without cause, it has no basis and is an innovation (bid'ah).
