ما حكم سجدة الشكر بعد صلاة التراويح؟

The Sharia did not bring a specific prayer for thanksgiving. Rather, it brought the prostration of thanksgiving (sujud ash-shukr) upon the renewal of blessings or the warding off of misfortunes. As for the prostration of thanksgiving after prayer or after Tarawih, it is an innovated matter. Prostration to Allah should only occur when its causes are present, such as reciting an ayah of prostration, or the occurrence of a new blessing. As for prostration without cause, it has no basis and is an innovation (bid'ah).
