Did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, recommend this supplication: "O Allah, suffice me against them however You wish and however You please, for You are powerful over whatever You wish" for safety from the enemy and when encountering them?

When a Muslim fears a people or an enemy, it is prescribed for him to supplicate with the Prophetic prayer: "O Allah, suffice me against them however You wish," as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did with Suraqah ibn Malik, and the boy in the story of the People of the Ditch. Other supplications have also been narrated for protection from enemies, such as: "O Allah, we place You in their throats, and we seek refuge in You from their evils," and when leaving the house: "In the name of Allah, I have put my trust in Allah, and there is no might or power except with Allah."
