Is the supplication, "Allah is sufficient for us, and how excellent an agent is He," enough for the oppressed?

The saying "Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs" is of immense benefit. It is a surrender of affairs to Allah and a demonstration of reliance upon Him. Ibrahim and Muhammad (peace be upon them both) said it.

It is a seeking of protection in Allah and a reliance upon Him for the oppressed, and it is not a supplication against the oppressor. Allah answers the supplication of the oppressed: "By My might and My majesty, I shall certainly grant you victory, even if after a while," and "The supplication of the oppressed is answered, even if he is a dissolute person, for his dissoluteness is upon himself," and "Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah."

The oppressed person may suffice with saying "Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs," or supplicate against his oppressor without transgressing, as there is nothing in Islamic law that obliges the oppressed person to a specific supplication.

Indeed, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas supplicated against the one who wronged him, and Sa'id ibn Zayd supplicated against Arwa, and Allah answered their supplications.

If the oppressed person is patient and does not supplicate against his oppressor, and seeks his reward from Allah, then Allah will not let his reward be lost: "But indeed, if one is patient and forgives, that is indeed [an aspect] of the matters [requiring] determination."
