The matter is nothing more than a mythical tale; there is no scholar from the early or later generations known as Ibrahim ibn Saluqiyah. This is a fabricated character to whom prophecies are attributed. The book "Akhbar al-Zaman" (Chronicles of Time) is by Al-Mas'udi, who died in 346 AH. Someone falsified the character of Ibn Saluqiyah and altered his death date. A Muslim does not need such myths for their religion or worldly life, and they are even more hateful and false if they pertain to informing about the unseen.
