Is it permissible for a mother to break her fast in Ramadan for fear that her twins will suffer from a lack of milk due to fasting?

If a breastfeeding woman breaks her fast out of fear for her children, the preponderant opinion is that she only needs to make up the fasts, and is not required to feed the poor. A breastfeeding woman should not break her fast unless she fears harm to herself or her children from fasting. However, if she does not fear harm to herself or them, then fasting is obligatory upon her.
