Is a wife whose husband has passed away, and who has children from him, and who is in need of money and lives in a rented house, obligated to divide her husband's inheritance of 150,000 among the heirs, or is she entitled to keep the money and benefit from it?

The money left by the deceased is a right for all heirs, and it is not permissible for any of them to take it or benefit from it without the permission of the others, even if they are poor. The wife must inform the heirs about this money and enable them to receive their share. Whoever wishes to waive their share, being an adult of sound mind, may do so, and whoever wishes to take it, may also do so.
