Does a person's affliction with an illness or tribulation mean that God has punished him because of his trade in alcohol?

A Muslim should not supplicate against someone who commits a sin, as long as their loyalty is to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, because Allah’s right is built upon forgiveness. The Muslim should be a bearer of good tidings for the religion, advising the sinner, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, showing them mercy, and supplicating for their guidance and mercy. They should not aid Satan against them by cursing or shaming them. As for the ruler, it is their duty to enforce the Hadd punishments and deter wrongdoers.
