What is the ruling on working as a truck driver and transporting an overweight load that exposes one to a violation, and if he refuses to pay a bribe, he will lose his job?

It is not permissible to offer bribes to traffic officers or similar individuals to overlook violations, even if the questioner fears that their employer might replace them, because that is a form of cooperation in sin and transgression. Offering and accepting bribes are major sins. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who gives and the one who takes a bribe. And whoever fears Allah, He will suffice him for what worries him and provide for him from where he does not expect.
