Is it permissible for a pilgrim performing Umrah, due to an excuse, to wear sewn garments and feed six needy persons for each Umrah in Egypt, while delaying the payment of the expiation and performing another Umrah before paying the expiation for the first Umrah?

Whoever wears sewn clothing during Hajj or 'Umrah due to an excuse, such as incontinence (urinary leakage), owes a fidyah according to the majority of scholars. This fidyah is either fasting for three days, or feeding six poor people (half a sa' for each poor person), or sacrificing a sheep. It is permissible for a follower (muqallid) to adopt the fatwa of someone whose knowledge they trust, stating that no fidyah is required in this case if the clothing was worn to cover the 'awrah or to avoid impurity. The best and most scrupulous approach is to offer the fidyah as a precaution for one's religion. The 'Umrah is valid and is not affected by delaying the offering of the fidyah.
