The answer

It is forbidden to consume, carry, sell, or buy alcohol. The Prophet (peace be upon him) cursed ten categories of people concerning alcohol. It is not permissible to put alcohol in sweets or to taste them, even if it is for study or to obtain a certificate, because it is not a necessity that permits the forbidden. Gelatin can be lawful () or unlawful (); what is unlawful is not permissible to put in sweets or to taste. Lawful sustenance is abundant, and whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better. And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out and provide for him from where he does not expect. What is with Allah can only be attained through obedience to Him.
