What is the ruling on the prayer of one who performs the Friday prayer outside the mosque with a barrier between him and the imam, given the undesirability of praying in the road?

There is no objection to worshippers outside the mosque during crowding if the rows are connected, because their following the Imam is valid. The prohibition of praying in the middle of the road was mentioned for several reasons, including: distracting the mind and losing devotion, or because it is a place where impurity is likely, or because it obstructs the right of passersby. However, there is no harm in praying on the sides of the road or on roads with few travelers. The prayer of these congregants is valid, and any dislike, if present, is due to something external to the essence of the prayer itself.
