What is commonly known as "mixing" between men and women – in its current widespread form – is not permissible, whether it occurs in universities, high schools, or any other stage. This is due to the temptations it presents and the great danger it poses to chastity and integrity. Any activity that involves mixing between the two genders – in its currently widespread form – is not legislated, whether it is cultural or otherwise. However, participation in educational or cultural activities without mixing, such as women attending religious lectures, veiled and without perfume, or any other permissible activity, is not objectionable.
