What is the ruling on sending short video clips prevalent on social media, most of which are for amusement and play, and include pranks, impersonations, or exposing others' private matters? And do these actions fall under backbiting, calumny, and harming Muslims, taking into consideration the waste of time and the impact on the minds of young people that they cause?

A Muslim must utilize their time for what benefits them in this life and the hereafter, for a person will be questioned about their life, youth, wealth, and knowledge. One must seize five before five: youth before old age, health before sickness, wealth before poverty, free time before busyness, and life before death.

As for photographing people's emotional reactions and publishing them without their knowledge and consent, this falls under forbidden harm and backbiting, whether it is done through speech, writing, symbols, or gestures.

And as for publishing lewd images, it is forbidden due to its aiding in sin and transgression.
