Does a person's repentance from sin, whether major or minor, make him wicked and destined to marry a wicked woman, or does his repentance purify him and make him among the good?

Sincere repentance, fulfilling all its conditions, erases what came before it. Indeed, one who repents from a sin is like one who has no sin. And whoever repents and increases in righteous deeds, their evil deeds are transformed into good deeds, in fulfillment of the Almighty's saying: "Except for those who repent, believe, and do righteous deeds - for them Allah will change their evil deeds into good ones. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful."
